Joey Logano wins in New HampshireJoey Logano scored his first career Sprint Cup Series victory on Sunday after rain soaked New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

“I never would have though I would have won here,” said Logano in a post race interview. “We didn’t have anything to lose. This is a dream come true!”

Logano’s win on Sunday made him the youngest driver to ever win a Sprint Cup Series race.

The 11th caution flag of the day came out on lap 268 with Logano leading the field, but  Logano took the lead with 38 laps to go, after race leader Ryan Newman ran out of fuel and was forced to enter pit lane.

Logano did not appear to be a competitor for the win after he cut the right rear tire on his No. 20 Home Depot Toyota and spun on lap 183.

Though Logano captured the victory, it was Jeff Gordon and Kurt Busch that dominated the day.

Gordon and Busch, who finished second and third respectively, had the two strongest cars on the track all day and were running side by side for the lead until green flag pit stops forced them onto pit road.

There were scary moments on Lap 175, just after the restart, when Kyle Busch got into the right rear of Martin Truex Jr. sending him spinning and collecting Kevin Harvick, Jeff Burton, Casey Mears, Brian Vickers, David Reutimann, David Ragan, and Jamie McMurray.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. had a solid run on Sunday after changing crew chiefs over a month ago. Earnhardt Jr. ran solidly in the top 10 most of the race and ended the day in 13th.
